A vaporiser might sound like some lethal weapon in a science fiction film, but it is actually a harmless piece of equipment used for delivering a mild high for recreational and medicinal purposes. All vaporisers work by heating up a mixture of herbs in a base unit to just short of ignition and then collecting the resultant vapour for inhalation by the user. Vaporisers are considered superior to bongs and other legal high equipment because there is no smoke given off. The Volcano Vaporiser actually has a detachable tank for the vapour, which is then delivered through a system of valves, but the principle is just the same.
